Police used extra powers to disperse a crowd of around 200 youths that gathered in Sutton town centre for an event publicised on TikTok.

Police have denied rumours of a stabbing at a widely-attended event in Sutton town centre publicised by a TikTok influencer.

A dispersal order is in place after around 200 youngsters turned up in Sutton High street for a TikTok challenge.

Police were called just after 4 o’clock yesterday afternoon to reports of a large gathering Officers responded to the disturbance, and no injuries or arrests were reported. Police remain on site as the dispersal order continues.
