Police: Tractor-trailer hit by train in Bluff City after transmission failure

BLUFF CITY, Tenn. (WJHL) — A tractor-trailer was hit by a train in Bluff City around midnight on Friday after a transmission failure, police report. According to Bluff City Police Department's Chief Greg Depew, a tractor-trailer driver made a wrong turn onto Bluff City Highway and attempted to turn around at Jonesboro Road.
