Police: Shooting in Central Baltimore leaves 31-year-old woman dead

Baltimore police are investigating after a 31-year-old woman was fatally shot Tuesday evening. Officers said they responded to the 700 block of East Preston Street just before 6 p.m. for a report of a shooting.
