Following the protest from Serbia against the EU election observation mission led by Andreas Schieder (SPÖ), the security measures for the delegation were increased during the votes this Sunday. "Due to recent events, we had to strengthen the arrangements for Mr Schieder", confirmed spokesperson Cristina Castagnoli from the EU Parliament of the APA. "We have a police escort for the entire delegation in Belgrade," said the spokesperson.
