A 28-year-old man has been charged with aggravated assault and possession of a weapon.

P.A. police investigate Tuesday shooting

Prince Albert police are investigating a shooting that took place yesterday. Shortly after 7am officers on patrol found a person with a gunshot wound in the South Hill area. He was taken to hospital by ambulance. Investigators say three people were later detained at a home in the 2900 block of 1st Avenue West. So far there has been no word on charges. A police presence currently exists and members of the public are asked to avoid the area while the investigation is conducted.
