Police investigating bomb threats at several schools across Kentucky
Authorities say none of the threats have been deemed credible as troopers investigate whether the calls were part of a robocalling campaign.
Kentucky State Police are investigating multiple school bomb threats across the Commonwealth reported on Tuesday, coordinating with local law enforcement to evaluate each incident.
Preliminary information suggests the threats may be linked to a robocalling campaign, with investigators working to identify the source of the calls.
Anderson County High School was evacuated Tuesday morning following the reported threat, while all other Anderson County Schools were placed on lockdown as police assessed the situation.
None of the threats have been deemed credible, though investigators continue evaluating each incident thoroughly; this follows similar hoax calls at the Louisville Zoo on Friday.
KSP declared, "These threats are illegal, disruptive, and unacceptable," and will thoroughly investigate each incident and hold responsible parties accountable; Jefferson County Public Schools confirmed to WLKY they received no threats.
