LEIBNITZ. A 54-year-old Bosnian has been arrested for commercial fraud, the regional police department of Styria announced on Thursday.
A 54-year-old man used social media to make fraudulent construction bids and swindled over €400,000. Learn more about the case and the investigation.
The police Leibnitz put the trade in the hands of a brazen fraudster. Bosnian, who was reported to be incapacitated by the AMS, also collected emergency assistance and unemployment benefit of 60,000 euros.
The man offered the installation of windows, doors and fences - and was reported to the AMS at the same time.
