A police constable charged with two counts of bribery was granted a $1000 non-cash bail by the Lautoka Magistrate’s Court last week. On May 25 last year, Jotish Jaynendra Lal allegedly solicited an advantage of $500 from an individual as a reward for performing an act in his capacity as a public servant.
