Teen Dressed as Clown Arrested After Man Found Stabbed to Death in Illinois

- Officers responded to the intersection of North 76th and State streets at approximately 10 p.m. Monday after receiving a report of a body in the roadway. St. Clair County Coroner Calvin Dye confirmed Allen died from multiple stab wounds.
- Neighbors told investigators they saw the teenager walking door-to-door in a clown costume, looking into windows and carrying a large knife. Ring doorbell video captured the suspect leaving an audio message: Ive been looking for you.
- Local resident Lee Palmer said the incident near his mother's home reinforced the value of home security cameras. "Best thing I can do is keep being safe," Palmer said.
