The police have arrested one of the suspects in the stabbing of a 19-year-old at the Rodetorenkaai in Ghent. The victim was seriously injured. The police and the public prosecutor's office had issued a wanted notice for the two suspects; the second suspect remains at large.
A suspect in the stabbing at Ham in Ghent, in which a 19-year-old man was critically injured a week ago, has been arrested. “He has been detained by the investigating judge,” says An Berger of the Federal Police. A second suspect is still being actively sought, and the police are also looking for footage of a fight at the Ghent Festivities that may be connected to the stabbing.
