Most Poles still want to be part of the European Union.
Poland's head of government Donald Tusk strongly rejects any reflections on an EU exit. Previously, PiS opposition leader Jarosław Kaczyński had brought a "Polexit" into play and sharply criticized the European Commission.
The PiS leader has admitted to negotiating a withdrawal from the European Union if attempts to reshape it according to his ideas fail. Former PiS Prime Minister Jaroslaw Kaczyński and current Prime Minister Donald Tusk have entered into an intense discussion about the future of Poland's EU membership. Kaczyński is demanding reforms and threatening a "Polexit" if he fails to get his way. Tusk is vowing to fight back hard.

The Prime Minister expressed strong criticism of the statement, while the PiS leader himself declared that Tusk, as usual, was lying.
