Minister of National Defense Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz visited the Airbus facility in Spain, where the air tankers slated for delivery to Poland under the SAFE program are being manufactured. "I think it's a source of pride for us all that part of the aircraft is being manufactured in Poland, and there will be even more," the Deputy Prime Minister assured reporters.
In an interview with Defence24.pl, Secretary of State at the Ministry of National Defense Magdalena Sobkowiak-Czarnecka stated that "good news" regarding the joint purchase of aerial refueling aircraft with Spain, using SAFE funds, is expected to be announced today. This is, in many ways, a breakthrough for the Polish Army.
