US EditionPokémon Company Reveals New Split TCG Expansions: Black Bolt and White Flare
- The Pokémon Company has revealed a new dual-release Pokémon TCG expansion set focused on the Unova region, scheduled for worldwide launch on July 18, 2025.
- This expansion commemorates 15 years since the 2010 debut of Pokémon Black and White by featuring every one of the 156 Pokémon that were first introduced in the Unova region.
- Both Black Bolt and White Flare will feature illustration rare and special illustration rare cards of each Unova Pokémon alongside three parallel foil patterns, including designs with rainbow Pok Ball and Master Ball effects.
- The sets introduce a new Black White rare rarity with monochromatic full-art cards, described as a modern homage to the early 2010s Black & White series, such as an all-black Zekrom and all-white Reshiram card.
- The expansion will be available in multiple product formats, support digital play via Pokémon TCG Live starting July 17, and aims to attract both veteran collectors with nostalgia and newcomers with distinctive card styles.
