PMET Conducts Large Scale Caesium Sampling Program at CV13
The sampling program is designed to produce 500,000 to 1 million kilograms of pollucite concentrate for downstream caesium testwork, PMET said.
PMET Resources Inc. collected more than 2.5 tonnes of pollucite pegmatite from the Vega Zone at the CV13 Pegmatite by Wednesday, September 9, 2026, supporting ongoing development studies.
The Shaakichiuwaanaan Property in Quebec hosts the world's largest in-situ pollucite-hosted caesium Mineral Resource, comprising 0.69 Mt at 4.40% Cs2O and 1.70 Mt at 2.40% Cs2O .
PMET utilized an innovative shallow coring program extracting ~30 cm diameter drill core from shallow holes to obtain large fragments, offering a faster, more cost-effective alternative to blasting.
Ore sorting testwork is anticipated for Q4 2026 with results expected in the first half of 2027, while PMET furthers engagement with strategic partner Koch Technology Solutions on downstream processing.
Advancing the Shaakichiuwaanaan Property remains a priority as PMET explores its potential as a critical mineral powerhouse for lithium, tantalum, and caesium through ongoing metallurgical testing programs.
