- On Saturday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the Swami Vivekananda Cultural Youth Centre Viveka Smaraka in Mysuru, a facility dedicated to the life, message, and ideals of Swami Vivekananda.
- Located at the historic Niranjana Mutt where Vivekananda stayed during his 1892 visit, the memorial was developed by Sri Ramakrishna Ashrama after the State government handed over the property for construction.
- Alumni of Sri Ramakrishna Vidyashala contributed nearly 30 crore towards the project, which includes a 700-seat amphitheatre, 4D experience theatre, exhibition hall, and meditation facilities.
- Modi lauded India's youth capabilities, noting that 10,000 labs have been started to encourage innovation and scientific temper among students nationwide.
- The National Education Policy aims to prepare youth for 21st-century challenges as India advances in Artificial Intelligence, space, and technology sectors led by youth innovation.
