Prime Minister Andrej Plenković pointed out at the meeting with the Bavarian Prime Minister that the government's measures had a significant impact on the reduction of inflation, which is 4.7 percent, instead of the alleged 7 percent.
The rise in inflation was mainly affected by energy prices, which rose 20.5 per cent year-on-year in September, while food, beverages and tobacco rose by only 0.2 per cent and industrial non-food products fell by 1.4 per cent.
