1 hurt in fire in Buffalo high-rise

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — One person was hurt in a fire at a Linwood Avenue high-rise apartment building on Tuesday night, fire officials said. Crews responded to Baptist Manor senior apartments, located at 276 Linwood Ave., just before 10:30 p.m. The fire began as a mattress fire in a unit on the second floor of the building.
