Pile burning scheduled for Monday in Prospector area

Park City Municipal and its contractor, Alpine Forestry, will conduct pile burning operations in the Prospector area (SOS Trail) on Monday, Oct. 27. The city said this prescribed burn is necessary to reduce the fuel load in the Wildland Urban Interface. Conditions are favorable for smoke clearing, and the city expects impacts to be minimal.
