Boxer Pihla Kaivo-oja will add a European Championship medal to her resume this week. This was confirmed when Kaivo-oja defeated Frenchwoman Wassila Lkhadir in the 54kg category quarterfinals in Bulgaria. Kaivo-oja won the match on Wednesday afternoon by a 4–1 decision.
