"Vučić's regime currently represents a first-class risk for the EU and its enlargement policy," Picula told Croatian N1 television, commenting on the manner in which the funeral of Ratko Mladić, convicted of genocide in Srebrenica, crimes against humanity and war crimes, was organized in Serbia.
"The European leaders should finally move from the phase of shock to the phase of reaction to what Vučić has been doing persistently for years. His immunity from sanctions should finally be removed, and the policy of supporting the regime should be rejected. This kind of government cannot be an untouchable, somewhat privileged partner of Brussels in the Western Balkans," Picula said.
