The following was issued by Peter Jenks, of Thomaston, May 17. My name is Peter Jenks, and I am a candidate for House District 43 [Cushing, St. George, South Thomaston, Thomaston]. I made the decision to run in November of 2025 because no one had stepped up to run, the democratic majority in the house is very thin and I have a deep love and history with the people in this district.
