Person Dies at Crash Scene on 5 Freeway on Grapevine

A person died Saturday at the scene a traffic collision on the mountainous Grapevine stretch of the Golden State (5) Freeway. The crash was reported at 11:32 a.m. Saturday on the northbound 5 just south of Smokey Bear Road, according to the California Highway Patrol.
