Two of the main pieces of the proton therapy equipment donated by the Amancio Ortega Foundation arrived this Wednesday at the La Fe Hospital in Valencia, where they will begin treating oncology patients before the end of 2027. Up to 200 patients per year will be able to pass through, also from other communities, as confirmed today by the president of the Generalitat, Juanfran Pérez Llorca.
