Perch Master League – 5th Round | Fishing in Ireland - Catch the unexpectedPerch Master League – 5th Round – Fishing in Ireland – Catch the unexpected

Summary
This report from the organisers of the Perch Master League: Sunday saw the 5th round of the Perch Master Ireland League, held on a challenging stretch of river. With the summer holidays in full swing, the turnout was a little lower than usual, with only 13 anglers taking to the bank. After the scorching weather we’ve experienced since the last round, nobody quite knew what to expect. The river was running extremely low, choked with weed in many areas, making lure presentation difficult and the perch even more reluctant to feed. It was certainly a day that tested everyone’s patience, skill and determination! Fishing got underway at 9:00am and finished at 3:00pm. Once all photos and videos of the catches had been checked and verified, the results were confirmed.
