Peoria Heights faces budget woes for the first time in over a decade

Out of six Board of Trustee members, three voted to partially staff theFire Department with full-time firefighters and the other half of the department be volunteers. The original annual Operating Budget for the Fire Department was $400-thousand, today it is set at $1.45 million.
