Penticton Vees Name Familiar Face as New Senior Advisor
Carter will lead alumni engagement and legacy work as the Vees seek to reconnect with players, staff and builders from their championship history.
- The Penticton Vees announced Scott Carter as the new Senior Advisor and Director of Alumni & Legacy. Carter returns to the club after previously serving as President, Governor, and General Manager from 2004 to 2008.
- During his previous tenure, Carter helped restore the Vees identity after joining the ownership group two decades ago. He brings extensive hockey experience as General Manager for the Spokane Chiefs and scout for the Anaheim Ducks.
- Vees President, General Manager and Head Coach Fred Harbinson stated Carter will strengthen connections with past players. He will develop initiatives celebrating "the franchise's championship history and its impact on the community."
