Pensacola City Council to discuss possibility of city electric utility

PENSACOLA, Fla. -- Pensacola City Council on Wednesday will discuss the feasibility of a city electric utility. The agenda says the council will hear from a Florida Power & Light representative, as well as an attorney who specializes in municipal utilities. Monday at his weekly news conference, Mayor Grover Robinson said he's open to the council's ideas. But he's not convinced a city electric utility would save customers any money.
