Pedestrian Struck And Killed In Georgetown County

An investigation is underway after a pedestrian was struck and killed in Georgetown County. The incident happened shortly after 10:30pm Tuesday along Lanes Creek Drive near July Lane. The pedestrian was in the roadway when they were struck by an unknown vehicle that fled the scene. Officials are investigating the situation and anyone with information is asked contact authorities.
