PEORIA, Ill. (WMBD) -- A man is dead after a Thursday afternoon collision between a car and a pedestrian, the Peoria police department said. According to the department, the collision occurred at 5:45 p.m. in the 3400 block of North University Street which is near War Memorial Drive.
