A new hearing day is held this Tuesday, during the trial of anaesthetist physician Frédéric Péchier, suspected of poisoning 30 people, including 12 mortally, between 2008 and 2017 in two private clinics in Besançon, Doubs. Missioned to elucidate the Péchier case, the sitting court virtually slipped to the bedside of Sandra Simard, who was struck on 11 January 2017 by potassium poisoning. Seven caregivers marched on the stand this Monday to decorate the ins and outs of this heart arrest which was the foundation for the police investigation.
