PAWTUCKET, R.I. (WLNE) — Tonight, the Pawtucket School Committee will meet to discuss who should take the helm of the school district. Former superintendent Patricia Royal resigned earlier this month, and sued the city in March, saying she was racially discriminated against and harassed. PAWTUCKET – Following a nearly two-hour executive session at Winters Elementary School Monday evening, the Pawtucket School Committee unanimously voted to appoint acting Supt. Randy Buck as interim superintendent of the Pawtucket School Department.
