A man has been convicted of harassing a London Ambulance Service paramedic in the first case of its kind secured by the Met Police.
It’s after Ella Johnson and her crewmate responded to a 999 call for a man at a bus stop in Shepherd’s Bush in April. As they tried to assess him, the patient became abusive, swearing and using sexist and degrading language. She radio-alerted colleagues in the 999 control room to call the police.
