A wildfire that broke out Thursday at Ehren Cutoff in Pasco County led to a wildlife rescue. Lightning sparked the fire in a swampy area near the intersection of State Road 52 and Ehren Cutoff Road, which spread across 525 acres and caused smokey conditions in both Hernando and Pasco counties.
