Parks and Recreation Community Day being held Tuesday at Whalley Park

SOUTHWICK — Originally planned for Town Beach, the Parks and Recreation Commission is holding its annual Community Day starting at 11:30 a.m., Tuesday at the pavilion at Whalley Park.“We’re going to have live music, a mini petting zoo, and drinks and snacks. So, pack a lunch and bring a chair for this fun afternoon out,” said Cara Cartello, the director of the Parks and Recreation Department, adding the event is sponsored by the commission.
