Park Rapids council gets first look at $5 million budget for 2026

The Park Rapids City Council discussed the city’s proposed 2026 budget during a work session on Tuesday, Aug. 12. City Administrator Angel Weasner said the finance committee has only had time to work on the expenditure budget so far, and have not yet calculated the preliminary tax levy.
