Emergency crews rescued a person stuck on a More Mesa cliff in Santa Barbara Saturday afternoon. Crews responded to the More Mesa Open Space at around 3:06 p.m. for a report of a paraglider on the cliff roughly 20 feet down, according to Santa Barbara County Fire Department spokesperson Capt. SANTA BARBARA, Calif. (KEYT) – Santa Barbara County Fire crews are on scene for a rope rescue of an injured glider near the More Mesa Open Space just after 3:00 p.m. Saturday. The glider was about 20 feet over the side of the bluff, and crews safely recovered the individual uninjured, according to the SBCFD.
