Nayshawn Wilkinson, 19, who allegedly shot a man in the butt near the West Indian Day Parade in Brooklyn on Monday, was out on bail at the time because a judge ignored prosecutors’ pleas to lock him up over an attempted murder in August.
Police said the young man was responsible for shooting a 24-year-old man in the back almost at the end of the parade in Crown Heights.
