“Another important step for the energy security of Southeastern and Central Europe,” said the Minister of Energy and Environment, Stavros Papastavrou. As he emphasized in his statement on the signing of the MoU for the expansion of the Vertical Corridor in the Western Balkans, with the participation of North Macedonia and Serbia, “it strengthens the strategic role of Greece in the new energy map of our continent.”
The Memorandum of Cooperation was signed during the quadrilateral ministerial meeting of Greece, Serbia, North Macedonia and Bulgaria.
