Palm Desert City Council to consider resolution asking SCE to avoid summer outages

PALM DESERT, Calif. (KESQ) — Palm Desert city leaders are considering a resolution asking Southern California Edison to avoid scheduling planned power outages during the hottest months of the year when possible. It would ask SCE to schedule planned outages outside June, July, August and early September whenever possible, especially during periods of triple-digit heat.
