Israel Reveals New Secrets Of Mossad’s Explosive Hezbollah Pager Operation (Worthy News Investigation)
- The new documentary Paging Hezbollah reveals details of Israel's 2024 pager operation that killed or wounded some three thousand five hundred Hezbollah operatives, premiering October 30.
- Following years of planning, Israel engineered and smuggled devices to penetrate Hezbollah's communications network by infiltrating the terrorist organization's supply chain. The process convinced members the pagers were safe and reliable.
- Former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant revealed the operation's timing was forced by necessity when Hezbollah began inspecting the devices. "In the middle of the operation, it turned out that somewhere, the pagers were being inspected," Gallant told N12.
- Israel eliminated operatives who suspected the pagers were bugged, while the film includes interviews with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former Mossad chief David Barnea discussing the covert mission.
- Lifting censorship laws permitted publication of previously undisclosed operational details, as the film's release follows September 17, 2025 commemorations in Beirut marking the first anniversary of the pager explosions.
