PA Facility to Support Rapid Meiji Hello Panda™ Sales Momentum

Yesterday, Meiji America Inc. announced a $65 million investment to establish Meiji Hello Panda production at its York, Pennsylvania facility.
Driven by accelerating sales momentum, Meiji cited NIQ Byzzer data show significant sales and distribution gains for Hello Panda in the 52 weeks ending Jan. 17, 2026.
Meiji will partner with an engineering company in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and local contractors and millwrights for equipment installation and building modifications at the York plant.
The expansion aims to scale production to meet demand, supporting increased Hello Panda availability in grocery, club, specialty and convenience stores, and funding local youth-sports programs with TeamSnap.
Meiji Group, founded in Japan in 1916, offers diverse food products, and the York plant supports Stauffer's, a Meiji America Inc. subsidiary with roots dating to 1821, and relaunches Hello Panda with 'Panda-Monium' in 2026.
