Ozon shares declined by 12.7 per cent to 2,600 roubles after the opening of the main trade session at Mosbirge, and the Mosbirgi index dropped to 2,092 points at the beginning of the bidding, 2 per cent below the closing level of the previous session.
The Russian stock market began a new week with a rapid fall – on the morning of August 24, the Mosbirgi index dropped by 2.08 percent – to 2090.65 points.
Ozon stock lost almost a fifth of its value in a few hours.
Ozon's stock on Monday, August 24, sat at 28% compared to the last deal on Mosbirge on Friday, selling 2,145 rubles at the time of writing – 834 rubles cheaper.
Ozon stock at the Moscow Stock Exchange continued to fall on August 24, and by 10:11 the value of the papers dropped to 2,210 rubles, 25.81% below the closing level of Friday, according to Mosbirje's data.
