- Oyo State Commissioner of Police Abimbola Olugbenga visited the site Sunday, noting residents allegedly ignored suspicious activity. "There have been bringing abductees here. They bring them here, people see them, even people greet them welcome sometimes," Olugbenga told journalists.
- Operatives from the Force Intelligence Department-Intelligence Response Team conducted the rescue operation; according to the Nigeria Police Force, two suspected kidnappers were killed during a confrontation while authorities pursue other syndicate members who escaped.
- This demolition supports ongoing efforts by Governor Seyi Makinde to dismantle criminal hideouts and strengthen security across Oyo State, following his earlier visit to Adelabu assuring the family that law enforcement would intensify operations.
