When the Kumamoto Nichinichi Shimbun surveyed registered users of its "SNS Editorial Department" (S-hen) about the reality of sexual violence occurring within organizations, 64% of the 84 people who reported having experienced sexual assault said they "did not consult anyone within the organization." The reason given was, "I thought it wouldn't be resolved even if I consulted someone."
