Over 42 million children vaccinated in Pakistan's final polio drive of 2025

Pakistan’s final nationwide polio eradication campaign of 2025 has reached its fifth day, with the National Emergency Operations Centre (EOC) reporting that over 42.2 million children were vaccinated during the first four days. The nearly week-long campaign, running from December 15 to 21, has mobilised more than 400,000 polio workers who are visiting homes nationwide to administer drops to children under five.
