NEW PHILADELPHIA – Authorities have identified the pilot who was killed in an April 1st airplane crash in Mill Township. Tuscarawas County Coroner Jeff Cameron says 62-year-old Orville J. Evans of New Philadelphia was piloting the plane. He was pronounced dead at the scene. DNA testing confirmed his identity.
