ORVANA PROVIDES TAGUAS DRILLING UPDATE: FULL ASSAY RESULTS FROM 2026 DRILLING CAMPAIGN; PROVIDES EL VALLE-BOINÁS BROWNFIELD DRILLING UPDATE
The results include a 1.25-meter interval grading 9.19 g/t gold and 5.55% copper, supporting plans to refine a deeper porphyry target.
On Thursday, Orvana Minerals Corp. reported updated deep drilling results from its 100%-owned Taguas Project in San Juan, Argentina, targeting deep sulfide and porphyry-style mineralization.
Geological data suggests the hydrothermal system remains rooted at depth, prompting Orvana to prioritize vectoring toward a potential porphyry source beyond the 2021 near-surface resource assessments.
Lab results from TADD-279 returned a 1.25-metre interval grading 9.19 g/t gold and 5.55% copper, while TADD-278 yielded 0.25 g/t gold and 0.12% copper over 205 metres.
The FY2026 drilling program totaling 2,173.7 metres concluded in anticipation of winter; Orvana will conduct a technical workshop in July to integrate datasets and refine future exploration targeting.
In Spain, the company provided updates on its El Valle-Boinás Mine, where Q3 drilling targeted oxide mineralized bodies; management also plans a 1,000-metre infill program at the Carl's Mine.
