Orphaned loon chick successfully fostered with new family

An orphaned loon chick was rescued last week from Fish Creek Pond in the Adirondacks by Ken Huth and Hannah Hughes of the Wildlife Conservation Society’s (WCS) Ornithology Department at the Bronx Zoo in New York City.
