ORION TWP. — The Orion Town­ship Board of Trustees approved 6-0 on Monday a resolution to place a Police Operating Millage before voters in the Aug. 4 primary election. The four-year millage request is for 3.75 mills, a slight increase over the 3.5 mills that voters approved in the Aug. 4, 2020 election. That millage expired on Dec. 31, 2025.
