Orangeville Township voters will consider fire department proposal
Several townships in Barry County have proposals on the Aug. 4 ballot for township services. Townships are permitted under Article IX, Sec. 6 of the Michigan Constitution to propose millages for these services. The Orangeville Township Fire Department was previously funded by a 0.75-mill levy approved by voters for the period 2022 through 2026.
